Special Issue Policy
All special issues of International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research (IJIR) remain under the full responsibility and oversight of the Editor-in-Chief and the journal’s editorial board.
Scope and Proposal Review
Special issue proposals must fall within the journal’s aims and scope. Guest editors are appointed only after their academic credentials, institutional affiliations, publication record, and subject expertise have been reviewed.
Editorial Assessment and Peer Review
Articles submitted to special issues undergo the same editorial assessment, plagiarism screening, and independent peer review process as regular submissions. Special issue articles are clearly labelled as part of a special issue.
Final Editorial Responsibility
Guest editors do not make final acceptance decisions. Final editorial responsibility remains with the Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the editorial board.
Guest Editor Submissions
Manuscripts submitted by guest editors to their own special issue are handled through an independent review process and must not exceed 25% of the total content of that special issue.
