At the Crossroads of Knowledge: A Common Ground for Interdisciplinary Scholarship

We are pleased to present the inaugural issue of the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research, a scholarly platform founded on the conviction that the most pressing intellectual and societal questions of our time can no longer be adequately addressed within the boundaries of single disciplines. This journal has been established to provide a rigorous and inclusive forum where diverse academic traditions meet on a shared conceptual ground and where methodological precision is combined with theoretical openness.
Contemporary scientific problems—ranging from digital transformation and health to social change, ethics, environment, and technology—are inherently complex and multilayered. They demand analytical frameworks that transcend disciplinary silos and encourage dialogue between the social sciences, natural sciences, medical sciences, and the humanities. In this sense, the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research does not merely juxtapose different fields; it seeks to cultivate a genuine intellectual interaction in which concepts, methods, and perspectives mutually inform and transform one another.
Our editorial policy is grounded in the understanding that interdisciplinarity is not a superficial combination of viewpoints but a deep epistemological engagement.
