Artificial Intelligence Policy

International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research (IJIR) recognizes that artificial intelligence tools may be used for limited language editing, grammar correction, formatting assistance, translation support, or technical preparation of manuscripts.

For Authors

AI tools must not be listed as authors. Authorship is limited to human contributors who can take responsibility for the integrity, originality, accuracy, and scholarly content of the work.

Any substantial use of AI tools in the preparation of a manuscript must be transparently disclosed in the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for all content, citations, data, arguments, and conclusions.

For Reviewers

Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscripts, unpublished data, figures, tables, or peer review materials into public or third-party AI tools.

Peer review is a confidential scholarly process. AI tools must not be used to generate reviewer reports in a way that compromises confidentiality, originality, or independent scholarly judgment.

For Editors

Editors may use technical tools to support administrative checks, similarity screening, formatting checks, or language assessment, but editorial decisions must be made by qualified human editors.

AI-generated outputs must not replace editorial judgment, peer review, or ethical assessment.

Confidentiality and Responsibility

All authors, reviewers, and editors are responsible for maintaining confidentiality, protecting unpublished work, and ensuring that AI-assisted processes do not compromise research integrity.
